Jacob- Accredited Practising Dietitian (Provisional)
Jacob is soon to be a Provisional Accredited Practising Dietitian and a member of Dietitians Australia.
Clinical and Lifestyle Nutrition
Jacob currently works in WAFL footy and holds a Clinical Dietetic role at Bunbury Regional Hospital. Jacob is also interning with Simone at the West Coast Eagles and has worked with the Nutrition Works team at various sporting events over the last few years.
After a nine year career in the fitness industry, Jacob will graduate from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science (2019) and Master of Dietetics (2021). Throughout his studies, Jacob completed placements at Black Swan Health, South West Health Campus, St John of God Midland Public Hospital and WAIS, where he worked closely with the WAIS Rowing program. Apart from working with Nutrition Works, Jacob has also worked with other Sports Dietitians, gaining experience with Perth Glory Football Club and Claremont Football Club.
Jacob can assist you with personalised dietary advice for management of diabetes, heart health, high blood pressure and cholesterol, weight management and gastrointestinal disorders.
Jacob has completed several education courses and updates including

Jacob is available Wednesdays at Midland Physio and Tuesdays and Fridays at Beaufort Physio, and for presentations.
Simone – Advanced Sports Dietitian
Simone Allen is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, an Advanced Sports Dietitian and was a Board Member of Sports Dietitians Australia for11 years.
Simone works with several sporting groups including being the Sports Dietitian for West Coast Eagles, Wesley College LTAD program and WA Ballet. Simone is also lecturing in Exercise and Sports Nutrition at Curtin Uni.
Simone was a Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach for 15 years, travelling annually with the WA State team, and appreciates the importance of realistic and appropriate advice.
Simone loves racing in the Busselton and participates most years in the Half Marathon and Jetty Swim in February each year and has completed Busso Ironman 70.3 in 2014 , 2015, 2017, 2018 and twice in 2019. Simone also completed Busselton Ironman 2018 in 12:08. Simone is currently training to represent Australian at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Taupo, NZ in 2024.
Issi – Accredited Nutritionist
Issi is an Accredited Nutritionist and is studying to become a Dietitian. Issi’s current interests are in
Child and adolescent health
Issi has been with the Nutrition Works team since 2019 and has been assisting at presentations, workshops and events.
Issi graduated from Curtin University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and has one year left in Master of Dietetics
Throughout Uni, Issi has delivered education programs in metro schools and UWA. She has also completed placements at Cockburn Integrated Health and St John of God Hospital in Midland and complete a research project with the Children’s Diabetes Centre at Telethon Kids Institute.

Daniel – Student Nutritionist
Daniel is about to complete his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at Curtin University and hopes to go on to complete his Master of Dietetics, with the goal of becoming an Accredited Sports Dietitian.
Over the years, Dan has participated in and developed a keen interest in
Brazilian jiu jitsu
Dan has been with the Nutrition Works team since 2021 and has been assisting at presentations, workshops and events.
Knowing the demands of a diverse range of sports, Dan hopes to assist athletes in optimising their training and game performances through their nutrition.
Outside his sporting interests, Dan aims to empower individuals with the latest nutritional information to achieve their health goals.

Abbie – Accredited Practising Dietitian
Abbie is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and a member of Dietitians Association of Australia.
Abbie graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) in 2017 and completed a Masters of Dietetics in 2019 from Curtin University.
Throughout University Abbie completed placements at St John of God Murdoch Hospital, Perth Children’s Hospital, Hall & Prior Aged Care, Cockburn Integrated Health and Bunbury Regional Hospital.
Abbie also travelled to South East India to work in a centre for children with Cerebral Palsy as part of her Dietetic studies.
