Passionate about practical nutrition advice & food enjoyment!

Well, I must congratulate every 70.3 athlete out there, for just being able to train and prepare for this event! On Saturday I will swim 1.9km and run 21.1km (skipping the 90km bike ride and letting my team mate Chris, do that bit) and the training for these 2 legs has certainly kept me busy. While I have enjoyed the training, juggling work, kids a training program is always tricky, so for those of you who are able to commit to the training of all 3 legs – hats off to you.

It’s all these athletes I see every year, of all ages, backgrounds and fitness levels that have inspired me to go from an ex-gymnast who enjoyed a walk with her kids, to an open water swimmer in 2012, to this year when I adding running to the “can do” list. Thanks to all of you I have achieved more than I ever thought! Busso 70.3 is one of the most exciting and inspiring events so if you have not experienced one, put in on your bucket list.

If you are in Busselton make sure to visit us at the expo for sports nutrition advice, goodie bags, and we’ll have the AIS Survival cookbooks, sports nutrition packages and our NEW, very cool, nutrition works tri tops, all available for purchase.
